Dustin Lance Black Supports WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION™ 2018
Hi I'm Dustin Lance Black. Have you heard about Student Strong? Now the color blue has been the defining color of bullying prevention for the past 11 years whether it's worn by students in New York or activists in Los Angeles or friends in Miami the color blue honors every student in the U.S. and beyond. Students wear blue on the first Monday of October, this year October 1st, and stand Student Strong. So please join me and STOMP Out bullying, the national leading bullying prevention organization for kids and teens in the U.S., in their initiative that empowers students to end bullying and change the culture. Their campaign raises awareness and educates the public about this serious issue and calls for students to stand up to bullying, cyber bullying, hatred, racism, homophobia and LGBTQ discrimination. These campaign funds have impacted over 100,000 students. Help us impact even more by wearing our blue shirt and joining Student Strong Upstanders. #blueup with me and STOMP Out bullying.
