Virginia High School Student Raises over $23,000 for STOMP Out Bullying

SEPTEMBER 23, 2025: Manassas, VA, volunteer Alyssa Kiffer at the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) was named Grand Worthy Advisor in a leadership position during her senior year of high school and raised over $23,000 for STOMP Out Bullying.

Local assemblies across the globe elect girls into “line offices”, elected positions in which girls hold different responsibilities on the local level such as chairing membership, hands-on service, fundraising, and eventually, at the end of the two year progression, serving as the assembly president, formally called the “Worthy Advisor”. Girls who have served on this level locally then have the chance to apply for statewide leadership positions. Alyssa was honored to have been chosen to serve as Virginia IORG’s statewide president, known as the Grand Worthy Advisor from 2023-2024.

Each Grand Worthy Advisor chooses a charitable organization to fundraise for, as well as a hands-on community service organization that she would like to lead her officers in supporting of her yearlong term of office. As a leader at that level, Alyssa chose STOMP Out Bullying to raise funds for.

Over the course of their June 2023-June 2024 term, she and her girls raised money for STOMP Out Bullying through selling engraved bricks for a commemorative garden at a retirement community, hosting a charity music gala featuring local youth musicians, putting on both a virtual and in-person 5K, selling IORG merchandise, and so much more. Together, they dedicated countless hours of time, heart, and effort into supporting this amazing organization. Alyssa said “she could not be more grateful and proud of the selfless service her girls offered towards bullying prevention and youth mental wellness.” Together, they raised over $23,000 to support STOMP Out Bullying!
