March is a time to shine a spotlight on the incredible women who have shaped our world. From trailblazers in science and art to fierce advocates for social justice, their contributions are woven into the very fabric of history. As we celebrate Women's History Month in the US, Germany, and Australia, we honor the countless women who have broken barriers, defied expectations, and paved the way for future generations. With International Women's Day falling on March 8th, this month-long celebration is a powerful reminder that women's stories are not just footnotes to history, but the very stuff of which our collective heritage is made.

Each year the National Women’s History Alliance (NWHA) sets a theme for the month.This years theme is: "Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future". In the words of the NWHA:
"This theme honors the women who have and are reimagining and rebuilding systems to ensure long-term sustainability- environmental, economic, educational, and societal. It recognizes the powerful leadership of women in creating a future that is rooted in equity, justice, and opportunity for all.From environmental advocacy to financial reform, from community organizing to policy innovation, women are at the forefront of driving holistic change. Their leadership is not only addressing today’s most urgent challenges – it is laying the foundation for a more resilient and inclusive tomorrow."

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: A Titan of Sociatal Change.
